DAY 01 – Drive to Negombo
You will be greeted by our chauffeur guide upon your arrival at Colombo Airport and transported to your hotel in Negombo. In the evening, you have the opportunity to attend a Sri Lankan cookery demonstration with dinner at the Negombo Cooking Class. After your long flight, take some time to unwind and recharge at the hotel, preparing yourself for the following day. You will be staying overnight in Negombo.
DAY 02 – Negombo to Anuradhapura.
In the morning, you will be transported to the historical city of Anuradhapura. After lunch, you will have the opportunity to explore the ancient sacred city of Anuradhapura. During your visit, you will see significant sites such as Ruwanwelisaya, Jetavanaramaya, Abhayagiriya, the Bodhi tree, Thuparamaya, Lovamahapaya, the Twin Ponds, Isurumuniya, the Moonstone, the Guardstone, and the Samadhi Buddha statue. You will spend the night in Sigiriya or Habarana.
DAY 03 – Anuradhapura to Trincomalee
En route, we will stop at Mihintale, known as the Cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. Following lunch, we will visit the renowned Koneshwaram Hindu Temple, as well as the Dutch Fort and Fish Market. For the overnight stay, you will be accommodated in a hotel near the splendid beach in Trincomalee
DAY 04 – Nilaveli
In the morning, you will embark on a boat from Nilaveli beach for an excursion to the Marine Life Park on Pigeon Island. This enchanting island offers opportunities for snorkeling, allowing you to explore a diverse range of coral fish, sharks, and coral formations. Upon returning, you can unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings of Nilaveli beach. Your overnight stay will be in Trincomalee.
DAY 05 – Trincomalee to Habarana
En route, we will make a stop at the second ancient capital, Polonnaruwa, renowned for its exceptional architectural masterpieces. While in Polonnaruwa, you will have the opportunity to visit notable sites such as the Statue of Pulasthi, Pabalu Wehera, Island Park, Manik Wehera, Chamber Council, Rankoth Wehera, Royal Palace, Lankathilaka, Prince Pond, Kiri Wehera, Shiwa Temple, Gal Vihara, the Temple Complex of the Relic Tooth, and Thiwanka Pilimageya. After enjoying lunch, our next destination will be Minneriya National Park, famous for its majestic population of wild elephants. Your overnight stay will be in Habarana.
DAY 06 – Sigiriya
Today’s itinerary includes a visit to the magnificent Sigiriya Lion Rock fortress. Prepare yourself for a challenging ascent up steep stairs to reach the summit, where you can indulge in the breathtaking 360-degree view. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the authentic Sri Lankan village and farm life experience. Your overnight stay will be in Habarana.
DAY 07 – Habarana to Kandy.
As we make our way to Kandy, we will have the opportunity to explore the Dambulla Cave Temple and visit the Ayurvedic Herbal Garden. In the evening, immerse yourself in the vibrant Cultural Dance Show. Conclude the day with a visit to the esteemed Temple of the Sacred Tooth, which houses the most significant Buddhist relic. Take a leisurely stroll around the scenic Kandy Lake before retiring for the night in Kandy.
DAY 08 – Kandy
Following breakfast, you will embark on a visit to the remarkable Royal Botanical Garden, the largest and most splendid garden in Sri Lanka. Next, you will proceed to the renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely city walk in Kandy, taking in the sights and perhaps pausing for a moment of relaxation by the tranquil Kandy Lake. Your overnight stay will be in Kandy.
DAY 09 – Kandy to Ella.
In the morning, we will continue our journey towards the mountainous region. En route, we will visit a tea factory, where you can witness the fascinating tea-making process and savor a delightful cup of freshly brewed natural tea during a tea tasting session. Having enjoyed this experience, you will be prepared for one of the most exceptional train rides with breathtaking views. You will embark on Sri Lanka’s most panoramic train journey, traveling from Nuwara Eliya to Ella, immersing yourself in a journey through the misty clouds. Upon arrival at Ella railway station, your guide will be waiting to accompany you on a sightseeing tour of Ella. You will spend the night in Ella.
DAY 10 – Ella to Tissamaharama
Start your day by embarking on a morning ascent of Little Adam’s Peak in Ella, where you can relish the breathtaking landscapes of the surrounding area. Afterwards, continue your journey to the hotel in Tissa. Following a satisfying lunch, prepare yourself for an exciting safari adventure in the renowned Yala National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of majestic leopards, crocodiles, sloth bears, antelopes, spotted deer, elephants, water buffaloes, and a wide array of bird species. Your overnight stay will be in Tissa.
DAY 11 – Tissamaharama to Mirissa.
Today, we will continue our journey to Mirissa, where you will be treated to splendid views of the Indian Ocean coastline and its stunning beaches. The remainder of the day is yours to unwind and immerse yourself in the romantic ambiance of the picturesque beach in Mirissa. You will spend the night in Mirissa.
DAY 12 – Mirissa
Today, we will continue our journey to Mirissa, where you will be treated to splendid views of the Indian Ocean coastline and its stunning beaches. The remainder of the day is yours to unwind and immerse yourself in the romantic ambiance of the picturesque beach in Mirissa. You will spend the night in Mirissa.
DAY 13 – Mirissa to Colombo Airport catch your flight.
While en route to Colombo, take advantage of the fantastic shopping opportunities available in the capital city. According to your flight schedule, we will arrange transportation to the airport for your departure.
